Have you tried these yet? Are you liking the tint of peppermint smell on them? MMMmmmmm:/
These recent Revlon Colourburst balms have come out here in the UK and they come in two different textures so one being matte (matte balm) and the other is sheer (lacquer balm). I purchased 3 of them as boots had a 3 for 2 offer which is always a great offer that boots promote.
I will tell you a bit about the balms and my thoughts on them. The matte balms are extremely pigmented and go on the lips so smoothly and feel brill on the lips too. I would recommend popping the balm on first then getting a tissue and take the excess off the lips but then reapplying. Why I say this is because I feel that it lasts longer and the colour looks more solid as well. The lacquer balms are also pigmented in their own sheer way if you know what I mean exactly. Even though the lacquer is meant to be sheer which they are but they still provide a lovely colour on the lips without being too overwhelming and it moisturises the lips too which is always a plus. The only slight issue that may arise is the tint of peppermint smell which can be off putting for some if they hate that smell. I don't hate it but I don't love it either. I'm more of the vanilla/strawberry kinda girl so peppermint isn't in my list of liking but like I said it doesn't completely bother me as long as the actual product is good.
What I love most about these balms is that they're so nice to carry around and feel like a big pen in my bag. Plus the balms are so easy to pop onto the lips because of their smooth application. They are really good for on the go without a mirror kind of thing. I would definitely recommend these lip balms to you guys and of course the shades I purchased will be more pinky than anything else.
I'l catch up with you all soon xoxo
