I recently posted on my October haul how I went on a makeup shopping spree and the 2 lip liners were part of my shopping and so I wanted to share my thoughts on these lip liners. Urban Decay are well known for their amazing colour payoff anyway and their most popular product that a lot of bloggers and youtubers will talk of and use are their Naked Palettes. I will add onto that because it is an amazing palette every way round. So the 2 lip liners I have bought are in Venom and Jilted.

Hi guys! This is a very late October haul and I seemed to have uploaded the images and so on quite late so apologies. In October I had a lovely shopping trip and I thought I will update on my makeup collection and I am so happy with everything I bought. Below you will see all the little bits and bobs I bought and they are all of a mixed range of products from higher end to high street products. I will soon write a full review on some of these products shown below because some are just to talk about and for you guys to know :)
So last weekend I went to the National Asian Wedding Show located at the Excel London. It was a nice day out with family and to gather ideas and so on for weddings although I am married and do not need these ideas but who knows, there maybe a family wedding where I can input my ideas of what I have seen in this event. More than anything I wanted to share what I found interesting throughout this event so it may help someone out there. One important thing I suggest you all do is get creative and don't go for standard and the norm! Anyway enjoy.. The Porefessional is the UK's best selling primer and guess what!? I'm not surprised at that statement at all. I personally am not into the primer routine because I just don't think I need it. For me it's a little too much on my face but never the less, I purchased it for my wedding and I loved it ever since. The primer has a slight tint of the beige colour that blends into your skin really well. The trick** of using this primer is by dotting it around your full face or where ever you feel the need to, then smooth it over once or twice and then pat it with your fingers. You DO NOT rub it into your skin or treat it like a moisturiser/foundation. A primer is to fill in gaps and to leave your skin feeling smooth so the more you rub it into your skin, the more the purpose of this primer falls down into pieces. You don't need to use too much of the primer too.. A little goes a long way! The primer is oil-free and compliments all skin type so hooray for those of you who were thinking "is it right for me". The primer does an excellent job of filling in those pores and thats what the primer promises.
Follow the link below to purchase direct form Benefit or alternatively you can go Boots or Debenhams to buy in store. http://www.benefitcosmetics.co.uk/product/view/the-porefessional#BVRRContainer £24.50 This is a golden eye make-up that I wore couple of days ago with a mocha coloured scarf. It looked rather subtle even though it looks dark but it sure does look good for evening wear. I will list down below what I have used on my eye. Just to let you know, I am testing out a new foundation which is the Chanel Perfection Lumìere Long-Wear Flawless Fluid SPF 10 foundation. I have worn this foundation on these images below and it came out amazing on photos and it came out good on real skin too. I feel that this may have been a good investment but I will give myself a little more time till I really feel something about this foundation and then I will write a review but do stay tuned.
Hi guys. This is gona be a mega quick post on a restaurant I recently went to. I spotted this restaurant when I was travelling to Canary Wharf and on the way whilst I was on the train, I was looking downwards through the window and I saw this restaurant that looked really good from the outside and I'm a sucker for a restaurant that looks good from the outside as well as the inside. I didn't research how the inside looked but I did research the menu and it sounded good so me, my husband and my little brother went out for an evening meal to the restaurant. When we went there the inside of the restaurant did not look the way I expected, after all it is in canary wharf and I had high expectations but unfortunately it did not look too good. The inside was fairly plain with minimal deco inside. It didn't feel posh, nor warm. The lighting looked as though it was a light you would find inside your house so it didn't feel like I was in a restaurant although it was clean. Now the most important part which is the food. I enjoyed my starter a lot and I ordered a prawn puri and the rest of the food i.e. main course was not anything special. The food was nothing to rave about. To conclude I won't be going back there again but one good thing which was good was that there was a car park so I was able to park my car without the hassle of parking in London. Ah the headache of parking in London gives me a slight migraine.
A little late review on this but finally the Maybelline baby lips has launched in the UK which came out couple of months ago in August, however they were first launched in Japan in 2010 and became very popular that they popped up in America in 2011. A big thanks to boots, they noticed a bit of popularity on search on their website and thats when they asked Maybelline to bring the product in the UK and shaboom.. they're hitting a lot of handbags.. even my husband carries his baby lips! So there is a few colours/fragrance out and the most popular one that ran out from the shelves was the 'Cherry me' fragrance which is the orange and pink one below. I have to say it has this hint of cherry flavour which makes it tastier to apply on the lips. The blue one below is called 'Hydrate' which my lovely husband owns and carries it around with him in his small side pocket. It claims that it gives 8 hour hydration with SPF20 lip protection and nourishes for baby soft lips. Now I don't know about the baby soft lips but it sure doesn't happen overnight if your lips are chapped and mega dry. For me it worked quite instantly because I always go to sleep with a lip balm or vaseline to keep my lips all plumped throughout the night and it did feel ever so soft. The 'Cherry me' leaves a hint of pinkness on your lips which is my favourite part because I like a pinky lips which feels moisturised. The down side is that I did not find that it lasted for 8 hours. If you eat it will disappear but without anything in contact with your lips, the lip balm lasts around 2-3 hours max. That may bother some people but for me it's not a biggie. It's quick and easy to reapply. This lip balm is a priced reasonably at £2.99 but in Superdrugs there is usually offers at 2 for £5 which is a great deal. You might also like:
This was my first ever primer I invested in and it wasn't a good investment, well not for me anyway. This primer has silicones in it where you can feel the primer on your face. What really disappointed me about this primer was the tiny sparkly particles as you will see below. When I bought it I didn't test it out but the one question I did ask to the makeup artist in Mac was if the primer was sparkly and she said it didn't have any sort of sparkles so I bought it and the next thing you know it is sparkly. I hate any sort of sparkles on my face unless it's blusher or eyeshadow hence why this primer was not good for me. I'm not too much of a primer person tbh as I can continue my routine without the need of a primer unless I'm away for a whole day somewhere. Talking of the tiny specs of sparkles, I must say it is really hard to tell and you can't tell once your foundation is on anyway so it doesn't really make much of a difference but I stay away from it because I know in my head that I have a sparkly base on my face which puts me off. Finally the last thing I would like to mention is that I do think it is a good primer and does it's job but it's a slight warning for those of you who don't like the sparks like me. The primer is popular and rated 4 out of 5 so it's a well deserved rating I guess.
