MY FIRST BIRCHBOX SUBSCRIPTION! I was super excited to receive this box and whats better is that one of the products within the september box included the beauty blender… the original one that is. I have been wanting to purchase a beauty blender for quite some time now but to get it in my box felt OTT! I was so happy and having it being my first box it made me incredibly cheerful. So I am paying £10 for my monthly subscription and there is also an unfortunate shipping charge of £3 which aint that good but for the first month I paid no shipping charge so happy me! I have decided to give these subscriptions a try and when I signed up they asked me a list of products I maybe interested in as in haircare, skincare etc and you get to personalise it to your choice so lets see how much they follow upon that although I have sort of forgotten what boxes I selected. Below I will list down what is included in the september box and they also give you a little card with info on each sample or full product they give which helps because on the sample sizes there isn't much info on them if any and the card also includes prices so if your interested to purchase full size then you have the price there as well to wonder whether its worth it or not.
This is a sample of the Premae mild pro dermabrasion. This is a vegan body scrub which is also suitable for the face too. You use this in the shower or bath then rinse. The price of this is £25 for 100ml. I have never heard of this brand but I do look forward to using this because I'm a huge fan of using scrubs in the shower and giving my body a good exfoliation.
This is a sample of the Benefit It's Potent eye cream. I must say the packaging is super cute to look at and handle. The price of this eye cream is £25.50. I'm actually glad I got this in the box because I've been meaning to buy myself an eye cream for dark circles so it would be a good time to make use of this eye cream and see how it works. I am currently looking for a good eye cream for myself. My husband on the other hand is currently using the Strivectin get even dark circle corrector which is made for dark circles. He was previously using the clarins eye cream for men and that wasn't good at all so I'm hoping the Strivectin eye cream will do his dark circles some goodness but for now I will be testing the Benefit eye cream out.
A small sample of the ModelCo's lipgloss in the shade Morocco. The price of this is £15. I swatched this on the back of my hand and as you can see it's quite a neutral shade which is nice however it is sticky. The formula is just far too gooey and I really hated the swatch. I then applied it on my lips and it makes your lips look nice and full and mega glossy. It feels sticky on the lips too so thats a bit of a boo hoo for me. I'm not really into glosses as it is anyway but I do wear it on the occasional days when I just need a quick swipe of something. I have popped this into my bag anyway so I will most definitely give it another try and see it how it goes.
A hair treatment sample Agave healing oil treatment has also been popped into this box. The price of this for a 120ml bottle is £27. This oil treatment helps to moisturise and strengthen hair. It is used on damp hair from roots to end and is suitable for dyed hair as it boosts vibrancy, shine and colour. Recently I have been treating my hair once a week as my hair is extremely damaged because of the bleaching in my hair so I'm trying my hardest to lock moisture in it and strengthen as well so this product will be really handy to try out. If it works for me I will definitely think about purchasing this product.

Hmmmm.. something healthy I see. These dried fruits are fruits thats are simply baked and I have here perfect pineapple. Since Ive been pregnant I have totally been off health snacks and healthy food and junking myself up but I will definitely give these a try. Ive never had dried fruits so I wonder how they will taste. I don't imagine them to taste better than the fresh fruits but hey its a good way to snack on the go. These come to a price of £13 for a pack of 6 which I feel is very expensive for snacking on!
Finally the last thing thats in my box is the Birchbox happy days photo clip in purple. I think this little guy is totally cute. I most probably will use this photo clip as a reminder clip so when I write my things to do or shopping list it can easily go onto this clip rather than lying around my desktop.
Overall I have enjoyed this months box thoroughly and look forward to receiving next months box. This month there has been 7 items included but usually they give 4/5 samples so this month it must have been a special one I guess.
