A way to clearer skin!
Finally an updated skincare routine that I have been loving so much. My next post will be on my night time skincare routine so watch out for that one too. This skincare routine along with my night one I have stuck to religiously and the reason being is because of the way it has done wonders to my skin. Sadly I cannot pin point which product is possibly doing some hard and which might not be but I will leave a short review on each product so that should help you a little. I use these products because I feel each individual is helping me one way or another, however my morning skincare routine is rather simple than my night time routine which of course you will get to see in my next post.
I also wanted to add something really important in this post. From around the time I found out I am pregnant which was around Feb I had decided how I really need to take some time out from wearing make-up and that thought had occurred to me because of something silly actually. I had quickly thought to myself how I need to clear my skin up because when I'm in the hospital during labour, giving birth and after birth I do not want a face with blemishes. I mean thats the last thing I want. I would like a blemish free skin just so that I feel a bit comfortable although I bet the blemishes on my skin would have been the last thing I think about but hey why not let this be my moment to clear my skin up. So from April I've been building a strict routine for myself.
Along with looking after my skin I gave up on make-up. I used to wear make-up n a daily basis as I would be out and about everyday but now I don't wear make-up unless it's a special occasion or I'm going out with a friend who I haven't seen in a long time. Surely the people I don't see often deserve a face with make-up from me but these days I don't even do that because I have finally become confident with my face. Being confident with your face without make-up is actually a huge deal and those of you who wear make-up would know exactly what I mean. It's quite easy to say don't wear make-up full stop but not everyone is confident with their skin or face which is totally understandable when your off to school, college, uni, work etc but because I don't go out much to a regular place it was a lot easier for me to do. I think back 2 years ago when I used to work, I could never have gone to work without make-up. It would be a total no no for me. The best thing I would recommend for those of you who are trying to get a clearer skin is try not to wear make-up at all but of course if you feel the need to then wear the little amount for example rather than wearing foundation just wear a concealer for your blemishes or wear a tinted moisturiser instead. I felt the biggest change was the use of no make-up and I couldn't have done it at a better time. Okay so stopping with my rambling and scroll down below for product info.

Okay so the first thing I do when I wake up is brush my teeth and straight from there I use this St. Ives apricot scrub for blemish. I love this stuff, I seriously do! This has been the best scrub for me and I'm onto the second one very soon. I run my hands under water so that I wet it and then I squeeze out a 2p size of this and then apply all over my face avoiding my eye area. Why I love this so so solo much is because it's a creamy scrub with little gritty bits. Now the gritty bits are not irritating nor too aggressive on the skin which is the very reason why I enjoy using this scrub. It has definitely helped my skin with blemishes and for me to see some sort of results it took about 3 weeks but please bear in mind that I don't use this product alone.
I use this useful little face technology along with my St.Ives scrub. Again this is one I use everyday but only once day for a minute. On this Clarisonic Mia 2 theres a setting of 1 minute so I use my minute quite wisely. The setting comes in 2 lots of 20 seconds and 2 lots of 10 seconds. When I say this I mean that after the first 20 second it beeps or vibrates even and then after the second 20 seconds it does the same and carries on with the 10 seconds. I use my first 20 seconds on my right cheek, the second 20 seconds on my left cheek, my first 10 seconds around my mouth/chin area and the second 10 seconds I use on my forehead and nose. I really like how theres a timer on there because I then know that theres a consistency every morning with how long I'm using the Clarisonic. I have already left a review on this when I first purchased this so click here to go onto that link.
Your probably thinking hmmmm what is this Hello Glow product. I'le start off by saying this is not a very common product that can be found on shelves. I actually found out about this product through a blog I was reading and then followed it up myself with some research and bought it straight away. I was so attracted to the ingredients used to make this whitening plus facial polish. It contains 100% natural ingredients along with essential oils. The ingredients used I know are commonly used to lighten and so I bought this for my blemishes. I use this polish about 1-2 times a week and I like how it leaves my skin. I use this either after using the St.Ives scrub or when I'm in the shower in the evening. Click here for the Hello Glow polish.
The Simple Rich Moisturiser is a good old moisturiser that cannot go wrong for me. I wear this everyday during the mornings as well as under my make-up if I was wearing it regularly. The moisturiser is just a nice casual moisturiser and before applying make-up I apply it quite heavily so that I can achieve a dewy look. Also for clients this is a really good moisturiser because you don't know how some high end moisturisers will react on different skins as they are fragranced and have all sorts of chemicals.
The Clinique All About Eyes is a little sample pot I got when I was working with them and I started using this. I feel this product isn't do anything much powerful. It does moisturise but I don't see any improvement of my darkness. I feel that it helps with the puffiness but I'm just going to use this during the mornings and finish it up.
Assalamu – Alaikum
