The worst time to go to a place to eat is when England are playing and yes I'm talking about the world cup that took place a good few months back and the England flag does of course give it away. I only managed to take 2 photos and thats with my iPhone as well so just bare that in mind. Me and hubby decided to stop by at Mexcian Grille which is in Mile End Road, London E1. We have drove pass this place so many times and we say that we will stop here one day soon and it just never happened until that day when it did happen. Can I just say the atmosphere in the restaurant was tormenting me because the waiters would stand around gathered together next to this flat screen tv which they have up and every time England would have the guts to take a shoot, the waiters would scream up! I mean how often did England even attempt a goal but these waiters would get excited over nothing! It was very annoying and not professional either. I didn't mind the waiters watching the big games etc but to be screaming the restaurant down was just not cool. Good job there was only another family in there and not a restaurant packed with people otherwise that would be a disappointment for people who have come to eat.
Onto the food. The food on the other hand was good! I really enjoyed my food thoroughly although it was a bit too big of a meal for me but I still loved it a lot. I have totally forgotten what I had ordered unfortunately otherwise I would have mentioned it. My food had some lovely taste in it and the nachos that they give with it which by the way was complimentary was delicious and so crunchy. The inside of the place was really cosy and had that mexican feel to it with all the cactus trees, fake i'm hoping and the colours that run throughout the restaurant has a real feel of mexican. The seating and table also add to the theme and I think it's great that they ran the theme throughout. Enjoy the mexicano if you ever pop into Mexican Grille.
