Rimmel Lasting finish lipliner in Spice £2.99 | Nyx slim lip pencil in 801 Auburn £3.50 | Mac pro longwear lip pencil in More to love £15 | Mac Cremestick liner in Portside £12.50 | Urban Decay 24/7 lip pencil in Venom £15 | Mac lip pencil in Whirl £12.50 | Gucci sleep contouring lip pencil in 080 £20 | Lipstick Queen lip liner in Wine £18.99
I will be showing the length of these liners and of course you can see for yourself which lip liner is smaller/longer. I haven't sharpened any of these liners but the gucci liner which is the second to last one towards the right has two lids on each end and thats because one end has a lip brush on it but minus the lip brush it is the same length as the Lipstick Queen lip liner.
Test No' 2
For this part of the test I will be looking at how smoothly they all apply and the pigmentation too. The general rule is the smoother it is the more pigmented the liner is. Atleast thats what I had concluded to. The image straight above shows how much the colour appears when I swatch 3 times on one spot light handedly. So I havn't applied no pressure to get the colour to show up. I for one hate putting pressure on my lips. I like a smooth application and one that doesnt do that then it sure aint my buddy.
They all pretty much have a smooth application and are pigmented even with light pressure. The only one that fell down in this test is the Mac lip liner in whirl. It barely shows up and you may have a thought that it's the actual shade to blame but I have the same lip liner by mac in the shade Brick and that does exactly what whirl did. Not much showing up with light pressure.
