It will be funny to say that I was on a long search for an electric blue mascara, a colour with full intensity, a mascara that is ACTUALLY visible. I had it at the back of my head that I do need one and so I popped into Chanel's counter not in the intension to look for a colour mascara. I looked around and ended up investing on their Perfection Lumiere foundation which I yet have to review. I then thought I'de ask about the mascara that I initially wanted and luckily the lady showed me this mascara from the L'ete Papillon de Chanel Summer 2013 collection and they had only the one in this shade. How lucky am I!? I guess I wasn't on a mad search for the item but it was just there floating around in my head and ide walk pass counters seeing colour mascaras and a little thought would pop up in my head shouting out that the colour won't show so I would carry on walking but I'm glad I stopped at the Chanel counter because if I didn't then I would never had known about this. It's unfortunate that it's limited edition which came out in a collection and whats worse is that I'm posting it very late although I did not purchase this during summer but in autumn. This is not a review because it would be a pointless review but I will say that it was a great purchase and the colour stays on my lashes throughout the day. Whats more important to me is that it's noticeable. I have had a few people commenting on my lashes regarding the colour, NOT my short lashes which means the colour is vibrant and I guess thats all I was after from the mascara. If your after something quite similar then I do recommend you keep an eye out on some of Chanels collections and maybe they will have some interesting mascaras so keep checking :)
