In case you didn't know I'm expecting a little one and my due date is the 1st Nov. Now from my last scan date I was given an induction date where I will go into the hospital and I will be given some medication to start fake labour so usually the contractions start within 24 hours. I am due to go into the hospital on the 1st Nov for my induction so who knows whether that will be the day. Just thought I'de keep you all in the loop about my little one. I will be scheduling this post to be shown on the 2nd Nov but I'm writing this now which is the 7th Oct 23:03!
Anyway on the baby subject, I am super excited and scared at the same time but more excited especially because I have everything organised and well in place. I have bought a tall chest drawer in black and had another chest drawer at home spare so Ive used them both to place in the upstairs landing where they fit perfectly and the two chest drawer is basically for my little one. I have placed the baby's nappies, toiletries, clothes, blankets, crib sets etc all in them drawers in sections and I'm seriously loving it. I feel so happy that my baby already has it's own things and space where everything lives. I'm one who loves organising and having sections for everything because it just makes my life simple and easy to follow and now that the baby's things are sorted I have such peace in my mind. I also had my hospital bag ready from september which is mega early, I know, but I'm an incase kind of girl so it's important that I have all that ready. I have two luggages ready, one for me which is the black one on the image above and the colourful one is the baby's. I had bought the black luggage from Tesco and the mustard, black-grey one my mother gave. It is totally vintage and has been around for YEARS but look at the old thing, looks brand new as though it was bought yesterday. How my mother cares for her things. I really liked this bag and I asked my mum if I can take it and of course she gave it without thinking twice. Mothers hey!
Luckily my family in Manchester, as in my immediate family had bought most of my baby's things like pram, crib, bouncer, bottles etc so I really didn't have much to buy to be honest. One thing I am looking forward to is breastfeeding. I really can't wait to connect however I am aware that I may not be able to produce enough milk for the baby but I pray that I am able to and that Allah keeps me in good enough health to be able to breastfeed and connect with my baby. By the time this post gets out to you guys I may have had my baby already or even trying to around this time but of course I will do an immediate post if I can once the good news arrives. Pray for me all xx
