This is one subject I love but hate as well.. Gosh I wish I didn't get those horrid pimples that ruin my life.. And yes I maybe over exaggerating here but thats just how my skin is feeling. So todays post is based on my current skincare routine which I have stuck to now for at least 3 weeks now. I need to carry on sticking to this routine till I get better results. This may seem like a lot of products to be using but all these are applied in different steps. Below I will leave a list of all the products I am using along with the prices.
I will talk through why I use each one of these products step by step and the importance of it to my skin as well as if it's working. Surely we all want to use products that actually work right!?

Step By Step.. 1, 2, 3 & go
STEP 1
I use two different cleanser but the one I was using for a long time day and night was the Clarins gentle foaming cleanser with tamarind which is specifically for combination/oily skin. The cleanser has tiny beads that don't feel rough on the skin at all as it is meant to be a 'Gentle' cleanser so by all means it is a soft and gentle cleanser. I initially bought this with the rest of the products within this range to fight the excess oil I get during the day on my t-zone. I will leave a link below for the review on that product line. This cleanser is now used mostly in the mornings with my Clarisonic Mia 2. I use this only during the mornings now because I feel that my t-zone is not needing this cleanser as often as it did.
During the night before bed I use the anti-blemish solutions cleansing foam by Clinique. The cleanser is a really beautifully textured foam that is not a messy foam. It makes cleaning your face much easier. The cleanser is supposed to help clear and prevent blemishes. I cannot say right now whether it is doing what it is supposed to be doing as I have not used it long enough although I do feel that my face feels really clean and fresh.

STEP 2
After the wash, I immediately move onto using my toner. This toner I have used like 5 bottles of it because it is my one and only toner. I will be scared to try another now. Please LUSH never get rid of this. What this toner helps to do is fight spots and I feel that it has been helping me with my blemishes too. It has definitely been keeping my spots under control. Before I used this toner, I used to have pimples all over my forehead and this toner was one of the products that helped me get rid of those. So Tea Tree Water, you get 101% vote from me.

STEP 3
My husband had bought me this serum as I have had my eye on it for a long time and then when we were coming back from Morocco earlier in December and as they do on the plane, they were selling duty free products and the Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Serum was on the catalogue and so my husband decided to be very kind as he usually is and bought me this. I got the 50ml so it cost me a little cheaper as it being a duty free product. So back to the point, I use the serum after my toner has dried and I use very little amount all over my face. I am subconsciously aware of the price hence why I am very careful with how much I use. I hate that it is so expensive and it works as well. Funny I am saying that because it would have been worse if it didn't work. The serum helps to brighten my skin and feels plumped. I wake up looking really bright and not dull which is a big thumbs up. It feels amazing but shame I don't have the smooth canvas to feel it even more. The serum is a clear formula thats almost like gel but isn't! It has a subtle fragrance to it. (sorry about the image below, I didn't realise how terrible it was)

STEP 4
This Body Shop Blemish Fade night lotion is a lotion with tea tree in it. This product is one of Body Shops best sellers so I had to purchase. I do feel that it is working on my skin to fight spots and blemishes but I cannot say full heartedly that it is working. I just have to wait for the results I guess. This lotion has a really strong smell of tea tree which I can take but if you can't then this is so not for you. It has very creamy texture to lotion which I really like. Following on from the lotion I use this tee tree oil which you can buy from almost any store with skincare products. I used to mix this is with the lotion but now I learnt this trick from a brilliant youtuber called Tati. What I do now is spread a little oil on the palm of my hands and get it warm, then pat it onto my skin with palm rather than my fingers so my whole hand will be touching my face. The tree tea oil again just helps with spots and blemishes, kills germs.

STEP 5
Finally, I dab this clear gel formula for blemishes on certain areas where I have blemishes as well as new spots.
As you may have noticed I use a lot of products mainly for my spots and blemishes because like I said that is something that I can never stop. Maybe its something I'm causing myself but I haven't figured that out yet. So guys that is my skin care routine right now and I hope some of the things you saw here are some good to you.
