I can't wait to talk to you about this setting powder which I used for my wedding day. My first use of this Ben Nye banana powder was just before my wedding day when I was trialling different products to see what would work best on my face for my wedding day. For my big day I used a concealer for my under eye but I usually avoid using concealers because after foundation I feel that I can skip that step but for my wedding day I wanted to brighten my under eye but one of worst things that can happen when you apply concealer is the creasing part which is totally not appealing and looks very unattractive. With the concealer I used which was M.A.C select moisture cover it did crease but I used that particular concealer because it made my under eye look refreshing and the shade was perfect. There are some concealers that will make my under eye look grey because of my skin tone and theres some that will make my under eye look much worse once the concealer is applied but this M.A.C concealer did me perfect. Now to avoid the creasing I applied the banana powder to set my concealer and wow did it do the job! I loved it so much and there was no creasing as well so it tackled exactly what I feared.
After my wedding day I had forgotten all about the powder but then I saw it again in my drawer and used it again and I remembered just how good this powder was. I feel that the reason behind my love for this powder is the shade of the powder. It is a beautiful shade that is a very light yellow shade and because my skin tone is a medium skin tone, the powder just compliments my skin tone perfectly. Once the powder is applied on the face it leaves this satin look which you can go out in but I still like a little glow on the face so I usually spray my setting mist all over my face. I definitely think this powder is worth the investment. It doesn't cake up but applies so smoothly. It doesn't leave a white cast and finally it looks beautiful and makes your foundation look flawless and I have a good feeling that you love this ben nye banana powder as much as I love it.
