Hi everyone. Today I wanted to talk about a skin moisturiser or even a skin conditioner. I bought this tub of Ro's Argan body conditioner from Lush (the image above) a couple of months ago which is used on wet skin. I use this skin conditioner once I've come to the end of my shower. I apply it on wet skin and then wash it off, then pat dry with a towel light handed. It acts as a moisturiser so it's fab when you don't have time to moisturise after shower/bath especially on those early morning showers. I have already used up 2 tubs of this skin conditioner because I'm just addicted to it although I have found another alternative now that does the same thing with few differences.
I am using the Nivea in-shower body moisturiser as well now which is my alternative (the image on the left) which I saw on an advertise in Morocco and I instantly thought to myself how much I need to purchase this to use all the time after shower. I am using the Nivea one for everyday use because it is far more cheaper than the Lush skin conditioner which effectively does the exact same thing although the Lush skin conditioner leaves the skin feeling really soft and silky as it contains oils and butters whereas the Nivea one is not as soft but still moisturises. The Lush conditioner costs £15.95 for a 225g tub and the Nivea conditioner costs £3.65 for a 250g bottle. The price itself differs in a huge way hence why I had to find myself an alternative as I was using the Lush conditioner almost everyday and it is quite pricey to be repurchasing quite often. |
The Lush one smells really soft and rosey which I absolutely love and I have now made that conditioner my body treat to use once a week only. The two conditioners/moisturisers have become my favourite and must for my shower uses. I save a hell of a lot of time not applying a body moisturiser after I have gotten out of the shower which is great. My skin feels soft and still moisturised by the end of the day and the best thing is the two conditioners/moisturisers do not leave your skin feeling oily and greasy that can stick to your clothes. I highly recommend these two products to you guys. Maybe you can try the Nivea one first because it is cheaper and then if you like the Nivea one then I assure you that you will fall in love with the Lush one. It's guaranteed!
