So last weekend I went to the National Asian Wedding Show located at the Excel London. It was a nice day out with family and to gather ideas and so on for weddings although I am married and do not need these ideas but who knows, there maybe a family wedding where I can input my ideas of what I have seen in this event. More than anything I wanted to share what I found interesting throughout this event so it may help someone out there. One important thing I suggest you all do is get creative and don't go for standard and the norm! Anyway enjoy..

Hi guys. This is gona be a mega quick post on a restaurant I recently went to. I spotted this restaurant when I was travelling to Canary Wharf and on the way whilst I was on the train, I was looking downwards through the window and I saw this restaurant that looked really good from the outside and I'm a sucker for a restaurant that looks good from the outside as well as the inside. I didn't research how the inside looked but I did research the menu and it sounded good so me, my husband and my little brother went out for an evening meal to the restaurant. When we went there the inside of the restaurant did not look the way I expected, after all it is in canary wharf and I had high expectations but unfortunately it did not look too good. The inside was fairly plain with minimal deco inside. It didn't feel posh, nor warm. The lighting looked as though it was a light you would find inside your house so it didn't feel like I was in a restaurant although it was clean. Now the most important part which is the food. I enjoyed my starter a lot and I ordered a prawn puri and the rest of the food i.e. main course was not anything special. The food was nothing to rave about. To conclude I won't be going back there again but one good thing which was good was that there was a car park so I was able to park my car without the hassle of parking in London. Ah the headache of parking in London gives me a slight migraine.
So last weekend I went to an amazing wedding with my family in Bolton and the venue is called Excellency. It is the most 'happening' venue I have ever been to. It is so exciting as you enter the venue. The place is decorated from top to bottom and I just don't think I will ever be able to describe exactly how beautiful this place is so I'm going to just let you crack on with looking through these pictures. My favourite part of this wedding was when the bride came into the hall where the groom was and on each side of the aisle there were sparkles sparkling like a min firework and it was just so different to any other weddings I have ever been to or seen. I'm sure any of you who is looking to get married or any family weddings happening then surely you can pick up some ideas and apply it to your own venue or even check this venue out. From what I grasped the theme was based on a floral forest kind of theme as there was like branches from trees coming out form flower baskets. There was plenty of pearls going on as well which were hanging down. Well, you guys check it out and see what you think.
Aarrrrrrgghhhhhhh FINALLY my mendhi and wedding professional pictures have arrived. Such a long wait. Just to let you know guys.. I got married this year on the 29th May which was an emotional day which I didnt think it would have happened for me as much as it did on the day. Throughout my wedding I bought different things from different places which I will note all down below incase you like something and you may want for your own wedding, family wedding or any other occasions. So I hope you all enjoy my mendhi and wedding pictures. Love you all. Mendhi..So my elder brother and his family came down for the weekend to London and rented out an apartment at the Pioneer Point in Illford. Just to let you know, they have some beautiful apartments with the most amazing view. The view from this apartment at night is the BEST but unfortunately I didn't have my camera with me when I was there at night. I honestly loved sitting on the sofa and just chilling out. It did get rather warm inside but hey who cares when the view is simply amazing. It was a lovely weekend where I got to see my lovely family especially my nieces and nephews. Check out the slideshow below Well I hope to keep you all updated with other posts so stay tuned my lovelies.
For now.. Assalamu-Alaikum ❤ So I visited my hometown last weekend and popped into Tesco's on the way and right in front of me, this lovely little plant in different coloured pots was staring at me. I just fell in love with the white pot and the vibrant red and green look. I remember how I once went to a restaurant called Zouk in Manchester with my sister-in-law and on each table they would have this silver pot with this red big leaf thing. I couldn't say what it is called but it literally looked like a big thick leaf and it was red. I fell in love with that and my sister-in-law had requested to one of the workers if we could take it home for me. I did end up taking it home with me. So any how, I couldn't possibly neglect the lovely plant. So I ended up buying it to gift it to my mum so that every time she looks at that plant, she will remember me. Besides my mum is a plant lover and the price was reasonable too so happy days.
Plant - £3 Tesco For now.. Assalamu-Alaikum ❤ |
